About Henry

I paint in both abstract or representational format and do not adhere to one single form of rendering, Each new subject will suggest the manner in which to work. I like to translate and perceive the mystical and the real. I am rooted in landscapes but enjoy doing portrait or still life.

Having taught art for 30 years, sharing the realm of my profession with others has given me many treasured gifts and support from patrons. Painting is a silent way of expressing myself. Key words in my vocabulary therefore are; Silence, Space, Passion, Timelessness - and my canvas is my Oasis.
